Hemarina was founded in 2007 based on CNRS patent WO/2001/092320 PCT/FR2001/001505.

Hemarina was founded in 2007 based on CNRS patent WO/2001/092320 PCT/FR2001/001505. This patent was delivered in 2002 and the CNRS issued an exclusive use license to Hemarina. This patent has been granted in Europe and forms the crux of Hemarina’s technology.

Hemarina has since developed a proprietary portfolio for its products and applications developed from this patent. Hemarina has applied for seven patents and is working on many more (three others now) to protect its R&D activities and new products and applications.

Moreover, Hemarina strives to cultivate collaborations, which are also resources for innovation. We want to go forward with our partners with a continual intellectual property effort to protect and uphold innovations while respecting the rights and the know-how of all those involved.
